Bismart, a company specializing in Artificial Intelligence, is working toward releasing a robot that acts as a personal shopper. The firm is working with a multinational retail company and a chain of aesthetic clinics in order to have the bot available to the public by 2017, as the company’s CEO, Albert Isern, explained yesterday. The machine will allow interaction by means of voice recognition as well as text, and will recommend the products most suited to the customer. Bismart, with offices in Barcelona and Madrid, employs 50 people. This week they have just opened up an office in Singapore too, with the help of ACCIÓ and Microsoft.
